The GeneBoy is Finished!

Posted: 03/10/2012 in Current Project, General News

So after 4 weeks, this project has been put to bed! Fully functional, fully awesome! Though I admit, I beat the hell out of the finish when I put the components on the inside and closing it up was kind of ugly, I’m happy to say it’s over with and now I can start to move on to the next project. Haven’t decided yet what that will be, but it won’t be long before I start up a new one! Here is a video and some specs to view if you so desire.

How many hours of gameplay with a full charge?!

I dunno the exact number it’s supposed to get, but I haven’t charged the batteries since I first wired up the system and I’ve played it for probably about two hours total. It got 4Amps and the screen and the system both take very little draw so who knows, probably get 3.5 or 4 hours per charge. That’s just a guess.

What kind of back-up camera did you use? All the ones I ever find are widescreen.

Which model Sega did you use there are 3 of them 4 if you count the retro game thingies? Would be great if you could add the Sega CD to it maybe possible if you just add the eye and the motor leaving the disc exposed or maybe stuff it into an old Walkman.
