OUYA Portable
Quite speedy really when you think about it, but that’s the benefit of having the case work 75% done before you start, and also having all the components line up the way they are supposed to.
This is my first portable in almost two years that I completed. I know I’ve done a lot of other stuff of course, but as far as technical “portables” go, this is my first since “The GeneBoy“. It’s amazing to see the difference two years makes in technique and quality, but it’s just a stepping stone into the next project, whatever that may be.
So with that said, having this off the table will allow me to get back on to finishing off the Cross Plane commission I need to finish.
If you want to check out the build log and how this was made, you see more here at the “BacMan” forums.
But thanks for checking it out! I’m happy with how this came out!
could you sell me one of those?
Perhaps in the future when things calm down but unfortunately they don’t come cheap. Lotta work, lotta parts, lotta time.
Is there anywhere a tutorial how to assemble the parts?
Not right now but I have wanted to make one eventually. Just getting the time to do so is the hard part.
What system is it and is it for sale?
It’s an OUYA as the title says. No, this one isn’t for sale. Broken now actually and being harvested for parts.
Do you have a “Portable Wii” that works with a program like wiiflow and you could run everything from it, like gc, gb, snes, n64 and also wii. That would be awesome.
I also want to say its great what you have accomplished
I haven’t looked into that no. I am however in the process of a new Raspberry PI 2 design that will do the same for the most part, not GC or Wii, but everything prior to it.
