About Me
I’m a hobby enthusiast who has begun to love and understand electronics in a way that has opened my mind to countless possibilities! I’ve been a part of the Console Modding community for over 8 years now and in that time have learned a variety of skills that have helped improve my creations throughout the years, most notably; CNC Machining, 3D Printing and 3D CAD Modeling being the biggest assets learned. “Bitten by the electronics bug” some might say, I strive to make every new project I do to an improvement to what I might have done prior.
Over the years I’ve dabbed in a lot of different hobbies and occupations. I always have to be doing something creative or cognitive, whether it be working on a new mod, playing guitar or PC Gaming to my favorite shooters. (RAGE had me in a death grip for awhile!)
I got married to my wonderful wife Amanda in June 2010 and we had our first child in October of 2014 and our second on March 3rd 2017.
Life is busier than I ever imagined it would be and the hobby has taken a hit because of it, but I still try to keep improving wherever I can. Hope you enjoy the content of the site and I appreciate you stopping by!
Downing
Hi, Downing – saw your comments on Hack A Day. We’ve opened up a hackerspace in Milford called TekArts – http://TekArts.com and TekArts group on Facebook. Subscribe to the newsletter at: http://eepurl.com/iMB6n or check out our projects on our new TekWiki: http://tekarts.wikispaces.com/. Would be great if you could visit sometime for open house (weekly on Sundays now, 4-8 PM).
Cheers,
Jack
Hey Jack! I just might have to make a visit. Can’t do it this week but if you’ve got one going on Sept 2nd than I’ll put it on the to do list!
Hey there! I’ve been looking at some of the things you make on here, and they are spectacular! I’ve been wondering, however, how much your commission is. I’d love to hear from you when ever you can!

What do you need to study in order to make a portable console and to do 3d printing?
Hi there. Could you build something like that ?! R-Kaid-R – The handmade portable game system. It would be great to play the SNES games with an arcade stick. And with a bigger screen. Here is the YouTube link video. https://youtu.be/mRQtnDGUH_U
